The Power of Prayer for Veterans: Standing in the Gap

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:6-7

At Peacekeepers Foundation, we take prayer seriously. Not as a last resort, but as a first response. We believe that prayer moves mountains — and we've seen it move them in the lives of veterans.

Why Prayer Matters for Warriors

Veterans often carry burdens that are too heavy for any human being to bear alone. The weight of what they've seen, done, and survived can crush the strongest warrior. But there is One who says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

When we pray for veterans, we are inviting the God of the universe to intervene in their lives. We are standing in the gap between their pain and their healing. We are declaring that they are not forgotten, not alone, and not beyond hope.

Our Prayer Team

Peacekeepers Foundation has a dedicated prayer team that intercedes for every prayer request we receive. When you submit a prayer request through our website, real people — warriors who understand your struggle — are praying specifically for you.

We don't just say we'll pray. We actually do it.

Submit Your Request

If you are a veteran, first responder, or warrior in need of prayer — or if you know someone who is — please submit a prayer request today. Your request is confidential, and our team will be lifting you up in prayer.

You are not alone. The battle belongs to the Lord.
